The feasibility of coupling of two carbene ligands of biscarbene complexes LM(CR) to form alkene complexes LM(η-RCCR) was predicted theoretically as early as 1982. However, until now, there appear still no reports on carbene coupling reactions of well-defined biscarbene complexes. This work reports oxidation-induced coupling reactions of bi(metallacycloprop-1-ene) complexes to give η-butadiene complexes, a unique example of coupling of two carbene ligands of biscarbene complexes.
早在1982年就从理论上预测了双卡宾配合物LM(CR)的两个卡宾配体偶联形成烯烃配合物LM(η-RCCR)的可行性。然而，到目前为止，仍没有关于结构明确的双卡宾配合物的卡宾偶联反应的报道。本文报道了双(金属环丙烷-1-烯)配合物的氧化诱导偶联反应，生成η-丁二烯配合物，这是双卡宾配合物两个卡宾配体偶联的一个独特例子。
