In a brief review, the clinical aspect of sarcoidosis is presented and illustrated by 13 patients whose disease was discovered by its initial manifestation in the ENT region. An isolated sarcoidosis prevailed without general symptoms. The modification of the therapeutic concepts in the last years is demonstrated based on own cases; it changed from the continuous corticosteroid therapy to a more expectant and observant attitude.
