[Surgical therapy of peptic ulcer of the stomach (author's transl)].

Initially recent opinions about the etiology of the peptic ulceration of the stomach, diagnostical possibilities and the indication for surgical treatment are discussed. In view of the malignant degeneration and the increasing incidence of "early cancer", the 2/3 resection-method is prefered now again.
