Abstract

Maldonado Capriles, 1981 and Castro-Huertas, Forero & Melo, 2022 (Hemiptera, Reduviidae, Emesinae, Saicini) are recorded from Brazil for the first time. Taxonomic notes on and its species are provided mainly based on the examination and photographs of the holotype and paratype of Maldonado Capriles, 1981. Previous doubts on some characteristics of the genus are clarified. A hypothesis suggesting that the holotype and paratype of may belong to different species is presented. An updated key to the New World genera of Saicini is provided.

马尔多纳多·卡普里莱斯（1981年）以及卡斯特罗 - 韦尔塔斯、福雷罗与梅洛（2022年）（半翅目，猎蝽科，埃梅猎蝽亚科，赛氏猎蝽族）首次在巴西被记录。主要基于对马尔多纳多·卡普里莱斯1981年模式标本和副模式标本的检查及照片，提供了关于该属及其物种的分类学注释。澄清了之前对该属一些特征的疑问。提出了一个假说，即该属的模式标本和副模式标本可能属于不同物种。提供了赛氏猎蝽族新世界属的最新检索表。
