Extragastrointestinal stromal tumor (EGIST) in the posterior mediastinum is very rare. Herein, we report FDG PET/CT findings of posterior mediastinum EGIST in a 77-year-old man. On FDG PET/CT, it manifested as a solitary posterior mediastinum mass with heterogeneous necrosis and intense FDG uptake. The final pathology supported a diagnosis of EGIST. This case hints us when we encounter a soft tissue mass with intense FDG uptake in the posterior mediastinum; EGIST should be regarded as a differential diagnosis.
胃外胃肠道间质瘤（EGIST）非常罕见。在此，我们报告一例 77 岁男性患者的后纵隔 EGIST 的 FDG PET/CT 表现。在 FDG PET/CT 上，它表现为单一的后纵隔肿块，伴不均匀性坏死和强烈的 FDG 摄取。最终病理支持 EGIST 的诊断。当我们在后纵隔遇到伴有强烈 FDG 摄取的软组织肿块时，此病例提示我们应将 EGIST 作为鉴别诊断之一。
