[Frequency of sister chromatid exchanges in human peripheral blood lymphocyte cultures after exposure to the combined action of gamma-irradiation in phase Go and caffeine].

Keeping of human peripheral blood lymphocytes, irradiated in vitro with 60Co-gamma-quanta at a dose of 3 Gy at G0 phase, with caffeine of 16 and 160 micrograms/ml during cultivation with PHA had no appreciable influence on the frequency of sister chromatid exchanges. A minor increase in the number of sister chromatid exchanges was only noted when non-irradiated and irradiated lymphocytes were cultured with 160 micrograms/ml caffeine.
