Diastatotropis striata Wolfrum, 1961 stat. rest. and Diastatotropis viridans (Fairmaire, 1897) stat. rest. are resurrected as valid names from synonymy with Diastatotropis crassicornis Waterhouse, 1882. Redescriptions, differential diagnosis, colour photographs of relevant types, a key to species and new data on the distributions are presented. Photographs of morphologically similar species are also provided.
1961年沃尔夫勒姆提出的条纹双斑天牛（Diastatotropis striata）恢复有效种地位，1897年费尔迈尔提出的绿双斑天牛（Diastatotropis viridans）恢复有效种地位，它们从与1882年沃特豪斯提出的粗角双斑天牛（Diastatotropis crassicornis）的同义名中被重新确立为有效名称。文中给出了相关物种的重新描述、鉴别诊断、模式标本的彩色照片、物种检索表以及分布的新数据。还提供了形态相似物种的照片。
