The splitting between Pseudotiphia villosa (Fabricius, 1793) and Pseudotiphia olcesei (Tournier, 1889) is examined with the resulting restoration of the latter as a good species. The synonymy of Tiphia beckeri Tournier, 1889 with Tiphia villosa is proposed together with the new combination of the name Tiphia arenicola Kohl, 1889 under Pseudotiphia and its synonymy with Pseudotiphia caspica Boni Bartalucci, 2010.
对绒毛拟蒂菲蜂（Pseudotiphia villosa，法布尔，1793年）和奥氏拟蒂菲蜂（Pseudotiphia olcesei，图尔尼埃，1889年）之间的分类划分进行了研究，结果恢复了后者作为一个有效物种的地位。提出1889年图尔尼埃命名的贝氏蒂菲蜂（Tiphia beckeri）与绒毛蒂菲蜂同义，以及1889年科尔命名的沙地蒂菲蜂（Tiphia arenicola）在拟蒂菲蜂属名下的新组合，及其与2010年博尼·巴尔塔卢奇命名的里海拟蒂菲蜂同义。
