Catapaguroides ngankeeae n. sp., a new diminutive species of Paguridae, is described from shallow reef environments in Okinawa Island, Ryukyu Islands, southwestern Japan. The new species is morphologically similar to C. brevidactylus Komai & Rahayu, 2013 and C. melini de Saint Laurent, 1968, but is distinguished from the two species primarily by the ornamentation of the palm and dactylus of the right cheliped and the length of the right sexual tube in the male. Catapaguroides ngankeeae n. sp. represents the eleventh species of the genus from Japanese waters.
新种冲绳仿陆寄居蟹（Catapaguroides ngankeeae n. sp.）是寄居蟹科一种新的小型物种，发现于日本西南部琉球群岛冲绳岛的浅礁环境。该新物种在形态上与2013年的短指仿陆寄居蟹（C. brevidactylus Komai & Rahayu）和1968年的梅氏仿陆寄居蟹（C. melini de Saint Laurent）相似，但主要通过右螯足的掌节和指节的纹饰以及雄性右性管的长度与这两个物种区分开来。冲绳仿陆寄居蟹（Catapaguroides ngankeeae n. sp.）是该属在日本海域的第十一个物种。
