Abstract
A new species of Macrodactylini (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Melolonthinae), Pristerophora rothmanni new species, is described and illustrated based on male and female specimens collected in southern Chile. Natural history, habitat, and distributional data are given. An identification key for Pristerophora species is included.
