Multiple reviews of the applicability, cost-effectiveness, and safety of daycare reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligament have been published in French, American, and British setups, but have not been described in our population.
In this study, 25 patients who underwent Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction (ACLR) as a daycare surgery in our setup were assessed retrospectively. Post-operatively patients were reviewed for pain, complications, conversion from daycare to inpatients, readmission within two weeks post ACLR and cost-effectiveness.
None of the patients required readmission within two weeks post-operatively, two patients were admitted on request from Surgical Day Care (SDC) to inpatient postoperatively, two patients developed urinary retention. Daycare ACLR was also cost-effective, as shown by cost analysis a reduction of cost by 26.9 %.
Daycare ACLR is safe, feasible, and cost-effective treatment modality for young patients and can provide a substantial cost saving.
关于前交叉韧带日间手术重建的适用性、成本效益和安全性，已有多篇综述在法国、美国和英国的医疗环境中发表，但在我们的人群中尚未有相关描述。
在本研究中，对25例在我们的医疗环境中接受前交叉韧带重建（ACLR）日间手术的患者进行了回顾性评估。术后对患者的疼痛、并发症、从日间手术转为住院、ACLR术后两周内再次入院情况以及成本效益进行了评估。
术后两周内无患者需要再次入院，两名患者应手术日间护理（SDC）要求术后转为住院，两名患者出现尿潴留。日间ACLR也具有成本效益，成本分析显示成本降低了26.9%。
日间ACLR对于年轻患者是一种安全、可行且具有成本效益的治疗方式，并且可以大幅节省成本。
