Abstract

The subsuperior segment (S∗), as an atypical pulmonary segment, is located between the superior and posterior basal segments. Many thoracic surgeons have no experience with anatomical segmental resection of S∗. We present a case of the posterior approach of left S∗ segmentectomy. The total operating time was 110 minutes, and the blood loss was 10 mL. The patient was discharged smoothly on postoperative day 3.

亚上段（S∗）作为一个非典型肺段，位于上叶基底段和后基底段之间。许多胸外科医生对S∗的解剖性肺段切除术没有经验。我们报告一例左S∗段切除术的后入路病例。总手术时间为110分钟，失血10毫升。患者术后第3天顺利出院。
