Abstract

The tendency toward the aesthetic preference affects an individual's intention to purchase furniture. Color and form are two fundamental elements of furniture appearance. However, there is a significant lack of human-computer interaction research on the aesthetic evaluation of furniture with various colors and forms, necessitating a comprehensive study to provide theoretical and empirical support to furniture designers and businesses. Thus, this study introduces a multimodal method by integrating various modalities, which allowed us to investigate the factors that significantly affect subjective preference evaluation and physiological feedback. The results indicated significant correlations between behavioral data, first fixation duration, and average pupil diameter. Meanwhile, the correlation between multimodal measurement data and product aesthetic ratings was analyzed, and an evaluation model of the leisure chair aesthetic correlation mechanism was proposed.

审美偏好倾向会影响个人购买家具的意愿。颜色和形状是家具外观的两个基本要素。然而,针对具有各种颜色和形状的家具进行审美评价的人机交互研究严重不足,因此需要进行全面研究,为家具设计师和企业提供理论和实证支持。因此,本研究引入了一种整合多种模态的多模态方法,使我们能够探究显著影响主观偏好评价和生理反馈的因素。结果表明行为数据、首次注视持续时间和平均瞳孔直径之间存在显著相关性。同时,分析了多模态测量数据与产品审美评分之间的相关性,并提出了休闲椅审美关联机制的评价模型。
