High resolution computed tomography of the petrous bone is not comparable to conventional tomography. Due to the different construction of both scanners the patient positioning techniques are different and conventional otoradiology projections are not applicable in computed tomography. We consider that high resolution computed tomography is only indicated in rare cases of temporal bone tumours and congenital anomalies.
颞骨的高分辨率计算机断层扫描与传统断层扫描不可比。由于两种扫描仪的构造不同，患者定位技术也不同，传统的耳放射学投照在计算机断层扫描中不适用。我们认为，高分辨率计算机断层扫描仅适用于颞骨肿瘤和先天性异常的罕见病例。
