[Acute renal insufficiency in elective surgery].

A summary of modern knowledge on etiopathogenesis; pathological anatomy and clinic of acute postoperative renal insufficiency. The results are further reported of an investigation of clearance of endogenous creatinine and of the number of cells in the sediment according the Addis during a normal postoperative course and after gastric resection (five cases) and cholecystectomy (five cases).
