Abstract

We report an atypical course of the deep branch of the radial nerve (DBRN) identified through ultrasound (US) in a patient with persistent right medial elbow pain. During the US examination, an anatomical variation was observed, in which the DBRN deviated medially to pass through the proximal interosseous space between the radius and ulna, rather than following its typical path into the supinator muscle. This variation, observed only on the right limb, was asymptomatic but associated with a slight reduction in the extensor muscle bulk, suggesting a subclinical impact on the nerve.

我们报告了一例通过超声(US)发现的桡神经深支(DBRN)异常走行病例,该患者右侧肘部内侧持续疼痛。在超声检查过程中,观察到一种解剖变异,即DBRN向内侧偏离,穿过桡骨和尺骨之间的近端骨间隙,而不是沿其典型路径进入旋后肌。这种变异仅在右侧肢体观察到,无症状,但与伸肌体积略有减小有关,提示对神经有亚临床影响。
