Abstract

β-Blockers have shown promising effects in preventing aquagenic pruritus, but they may also have a role in preventing aquagenic urticaria and aquadynia. The question arises as to whether aquagenic pruritus, aquadynia, and aquagenic urticaria should be considered distinct phenotypes or part of a disease continuum.
