Our population is aging, yet there is limited geriatrics training in medical education. Based on the 4Ms of an Age-Friendly Health System (What Matters, Medication, Mentation, Mobility), we describe strategies for creating age-friendly educational programs. Intended for use by clinician educators and educational leaders designing medical education programs, we discuss strategies in three major areas: (1) intentional geriatric educational design, (2) opportunities for integration and collaboration, and (3) improving the culture of geriatrics within medical education.
