[Morphological changes in the genitalia of culled sheep].

Morphologic studies were carried out on the genital organs of a total of 102 culled ewes in a postestrous season. In some 44.12 per cent there were clearly manifested gross lesions. Endometritis forms accounted for a highest percent--13.7, followed by uterus pigmentation--12.75 per cent, and hypoplasia of the uterus--11.76 per cent. Histologically, the ovaries presented yellow body cysts--13.00 per cent, follicular cysts--6 per cent, and chronic salpingitis with hydrosalpinx--19 per cent.
