[Results of creating extra-intracranial arterial anastomoses in occlusive diseases of the vessels of the brain].

The article analyses the results of operations for creating end-to-side extra-intracranial anastomoses between the branches of the external carotid artery and cortical branches of the middle cerebral artery in 62 patients with occlusion of the cerebral vessels and in 3 patients with giant aneurysms of the supraclinoid part of the internal carotid arteries.
