Abstract
A large left renal mass was removed from an 85-year-old male. Histological examination revealed various features: Anaplastic transitional cell carcinoma and glandular formation scattered with portions resembling cancer pearls. Sarcomatoid-like area at ureteral margin of the mass and carcinoma-in-situ at renal pelvic mucosa were also seen. Final interpretation was grade III, transitional cell carcinoma, with squamous and glandular differentiation, spindling, and pleomorphic areas.

从一名85岁男性身上切除了一个巨大的左肾肿物。组织学检查显示出多种特征：间变性移行细胞癌和腺体形成，散在部分类似癌珠。肿物输尿管边缘可见肉瘤样区域，肾盂黏膜可见原位癌。最终诊断为III级移行细胞癌，伴有鳞状和腺性分化、梭形细胞及多形性区域。
