[Ovarian cancer 5 years after hysterectomy with adnexectomy for a benign lesion. Apropos of a case].

The rare and strange evolution of an ovarian tumour in a woman of 58 years of age. Extraordinary in its method of presentation and interesting because of the way it was decided to treat it and because of the theories concerning its physiopathology. A pelvic mass that appeared 5 years after hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy for a fibroid proved to be an ovarian cancer. The diagnosis was difficult and the treatment very complicated.
