Abstract

Anterior glenohumeral instability presents a complex clinical challenge, commonly resulting from labral tears, humeral head lesions, or glenoid bone defects. Recently, the dynamic anterior stabilization procedure has emerged as a promising alternative, using the long head of the biceps to mimic the stabilizing function of the conjoint tendon. We introduce a modified onlay dynamic anterior stabilization procedure with labral augmentation using the hanging long head of the biceps technique for patients with anteroinferior glenohumeral instability with subcritical glenoid bone loss.
