[Echoencephalographic diagnosis of extracerebral tumors located basally].

A total of 118 patients with tumours of extracerebral, and basal localization were examined. The simplicity and information content of multi-axial echoencephalography were demonstrated and the significance of the echographic signs for an earlier topical diagnosis of extracerebral basal tumours was analyzed. It is observed that the method employed well correlates with other research methods, supplements them and contributes to early diagnosis of extracerebral tumours of basal localization.
