Abstract

As well known, the species of Bordetella, such as and are prevalent respiratory tract pathogens. , another species of Bordetella genus, could cause meningitis, bacteremia, lung disease, endocarditis, chronic cholangitis and soft tissue abscess. In this study, we reported a new case of infection in Asia with the clinical presentation and laboratory diagnosis. This study systematically analyzed the etiological characteristics of the pathogen using Vitek 2, MALDI-TOF MS, drug susceptibility testing, and whole-genome sequencing, aiming to provide a valuable reference for the diagnosis and treatment of infection

摘要
