We studied 53 cases of cardiac carcinoma resected at our hospital during the past 15 years. The five-year survival rate of patients undergoing curative resection was 62.5%. But that of esophagocardiac carcinoma died due to recurrence after the curative resection. In such cases, recurrence was often observed in the thoracic cavity, especially in those who survived more than two years postoperatively. Therefore, in surgery for esophagocardiac carcinoma, sufficient mediastinal lymph node removal is necessary.
我们研究了我院在过去15年中切除的53例贲门癌病例。接受根治性切除的患者五年生存率为62.5%。但食管贲门癌患者在根治性切除后因复发死亡。在这些病例中，复发常发生在胸腔，尤其是术后存活超过两年的患者。因此，在食管贲门癌手术中，充分切除纵隔淋巴结是必要的。
