Abstract
A new form of 106Ru/106Rh applicator is described, with which it is possible to treat ciliary body tumors while preserving the cornea. Radiotherapy with this applicator may be regarded as an alternative to local excision and radiation of ciliary body melanomas with protons or helium ions.
