This collection highlights the current landscape of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias research in East Asia, including region-specific epidemiological insights, advances in plasma biomarkers and neuroimaging, and innovative diagnostic and treatment strategies. Despite progress, challenges such as limited access to advanced imaging, cultural barriers to autopsy, and disparities in healthcare persist.
