We present a 69-year-old male with overlapping clinical-histopathological-immunological features of cutaneous leukocytoclastic vasculitis (LCV) and linear IgA disease (LAD). The patient's disease was considered idiopathic, with a possible underlying infectious trigger/etiology. The term "linear IgA vasculitis" is proposed to describe those patients with rarely reported combined LCV-LAD findings, and includes idiopathic, drug-induced, and paraneoplastic causes.
