Abstract

This editorial delves into the potential of systemic immune indicators (SIIs) as early predictors of renal damage in children with newly diagnosed type 1 diabetes mellitus. By exploring the recent study published by Cao , this article aims to highlight the importance of early detection and intervention. This study comprehensively analyzes various SIIs, examining their correlation with renal complications in newly diagnosed type 1 diabetic children.
