Abstract
A second case of discovery of HbD Punjab in Russian population is reported. Abnormal hemoglobin was found in women with recurrent fetal wastage. The possibility of casual relationship between the presence of HbD Punjab and this type of pathology was rejected on the basis of detailed clinical and genetical investigation.
