In 22 mildly deteriorated elderly patients the total score on a reality orientation questionnaire improved after 3 months ROT. This increased knowledge on basic facts was ascertained in both groups: patients who attended the ROT-class and patients who participated in the ROT-discussion-group. It became clear though that the effect of the ROT was limited to those items of the questionnaire that had been offered to the patients. The knowledge of items which had not been offered in the ROT remained unchanged. ROT had no generalized effect on the verbal orientation. It only had a specific effect on trained items of information.
在22名轻度失智的老年患者中,经过3个月的现实导向训练(ROT)后,现实导向问卷的总分有所提高。在参加ROT课程的患者和参加ROT讨论组的患者这两组中,关于基本事实的知识都有所增加。然而,很明显,ROT的效果仅限于问卷中向患者提供过的那些项目。ROT中未提供的项目的知识保持不变。ROT对言语定向没有普遍影响。它只对训练过的信息项目有特定影响。
