Abstract
Pale-cell acanthosis is a distinctive reaction of epidermal epithelium and is analogous to other epithelial reaction patterns such as epidermolytic hyperkeratosis, focal acantholytic dyskeratosis, cornoid lamellation, and follicular mucinosis.
