Abstract

Erdheim-Chester disease (ECD) is a rare systemic non-Langerhans cell histiocytosis with multiple organ involvement. Being a rare disease with variable clinical manifestations, it is often difficult to diagnose. F-2-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) plays a vital role in assessing disease extent and severity, diagnosis, treatment response and is a potential biomarker for BRAF mutation. We present here a rare case of ECD with FDG PET/CT showing extensive cutaneous lesions apart from skeletal involvement.

厄尔德海姆-切斯特病(ECD)是一种罕见的系统性非朗格汉斯细胞组织细胞增多症,可累及多个器官。作为一种临床表现多样的罕见疾病,其诊断往往具有挑战性。F-2-氟脱氧葡萄糖(FDG)正电子发射断层扫描/计算机断层扫描(PET/CT)在评估疾病范围和严重程度、诊断、治疗反应方面起着至关重要的作用,并且是BRAF突变的潜在生物标志物。我们在此报告一例罕见的ECD病例,FDG PET/CT显示除骨骼受累外,还有广泛的皮肤病变。
