[Germ cell colonization of gonads in experimental quail twin embryos (Coturnix coturnix japonica)].

At the same development stage, two Quail twin embryos from right and left halves of a blastoderm contain together as many germ cells as a normal embryol. These are asymmetricaly distributed between the twins as between the right and left genital ridges of control embryos.
