Antibodies of the IgM and IgG classes were detected in cattle inoculated with living or dead Theileria annulata. Both types of antibody appeared from 18 to 36 days after inoculation and persisted for up to 120 days, the longest period tested. No diagnostic application could be assigned to the differentiation of the 2 classes of antibody.
