[Immunologic properties of ovine chorionic somatomammotropin].

Immunological properties of ovine chorionic somatomammotropin (OSC) are studied immunodiffusion, radio-immunoassays and by comparative studies of serum hormonal changes during pregnancy. OCS shows no immunological cross-reaction with ovine prolacin, ovine, bovine and human growth hormone and human placental lactogen. Structural analogies of these hormones are discussed.
