[Cutaneous thermography in changes of the peripheral vessels in traumatological practice (author's transl)].

The article reports on the method of cutaneous thermography in the diagnosis of superficial thrombophlebitis, acute and chronic thrombosis of the veins and arterial occlusion, in a case material of 80 patients. Cholesterol ester foils were used. Results indicate that this method supplies valuable information on local temperature increases thanks to its rapid, simple and non-hazardous application.
