Twenty four reoperations were performed for cancer of the pancreas. The indications were as follows: gastroduodenal obstruction, recurrent jaundice, external biliary fistulas and uneffective primary operations. In 20 patients palliative measures were performed, which improved considerably the patents' state. Reoperations for pancreatic cancer seem to be rational only in the presence of the proper indications; however an adequate primary operation in some cases may render unnecessary such relaparotomies.
对胰腺癌患者进行了24次再次手术。手术指征如下：胃十二指肠梗阻、复发性黄疸、外胆道瘘以及初次手术效果不佳。对20例患者采取了姑息性治疗措施，这显著改善了患者的状况。仅在有适当指征的情况下，胰腺癌再次手术似乎才是合理的；然而，在某些情况下，充分的初次手术可能使再次剖腹手术变得不必要。
