Aneurysm and arteriovenous malformation of the spinal cord.

A case is presented in which microsurgical technique was used to excise an intramedullary vascular lesion of the spinal cord. This kind of vascular pathology is uncommon. In this case, a radical excision of the malformation was obtained using the microscope. What appeared to an associated intramedullary aneurysm was totally removed.
