Abstract

Twenty-two inpatients with a discharge diagnosis of hysterical seizures were compared with 22 matched inpatients with a discharge diagnosis of epileptic seizures. There were significant differences between the groups in respect to family and personal history of psychiatric disorder, attempted suicide, sexual maladjustment, and a current affective syndrome.

将22例出院诊断为癔症性发作的住院患者与22例相匹配的出院诊断为癫痫性发作的住院患者进行比较。两组在精神疾病家族史和个人史、自杀未遂、性适应不良以及当前情感综合征方面存在显著差异。
