[Bone tumours in the shoulder area (author's transl)].

An introduction into the basic principles of radiographic interpretation of bone tumours is presented. Patient material is selected in order to demonstrate the different appearances of bone tumours. The basic patterns of periosteal response are discussed. A short discussion of differential diagnosis is included.
