Abstract
A differential count of the gram-negative, anaerobic, non sporeforming bacteria in different segments of the pig intestinal tract was performed in 2 groups of pigs. Seventy-seven strains were identified, belonging to 6 groups: Sphaerophorus necrophorus, anhemolytic Sphaerophorus spp., Bacteroides (Eggerthella) spp., Fusobactenum spp., Veillonella/Acidaminococcus spp., and Peptostreptococcus elsdenii. The characters of these groups are described, and quantitative data on their occurrence in a group of normal porkers and a group of pigs with experimental swine dysentery are given.

对两组猪不同肠道段的革兰氏阴性、厌氧、无芽孢形成细菌进行了鉴别计数。共鉴定出77株菌株，分属6个菌群：坏死梭杆菌、非溶血梭杆菌属、拟杆菌（埃格特菌属）、梭杆菌属、韦荣球菌/氨基酸球菌属和埃尔氏消化链球菌。描述了这些菌群的特征，并给出了它们在一组正常猪和一组患有实验性猪痢疾的猪中出现的定量数据。
