Abstract
The progesterone concentration of peripheral plasma in pigs has previously been studied during the oestrous cycle and in early pregnancy ( 1967, 1969). The present study was undertaken to obtain some information on the concentration of plasma progesterone during the prepuberal period and during the first oestrous cycle in the pig.
