Aberrant pancreas is a rare anomaly. It may be found by chance while operating or in autopsy and it need not cause any troubles to its bearer. In other cases it may be the cause of acute or chronic disorders. It is reported about a patient with chronic gastric disorders caused by heterotopic aberrant pancreas in the stomach wall.
