Abstract

Non-lysogenic clones were recovered from 3 out of 9 lysogenic strains of and 4 out of 8 lysogenic strains of which had been maintained in diffusion chambers for 2-5 weeks within the peritoneal cavities of fowls or turkeys previously immunized with suspensions of the phages carried by the respective organisms.
