Abstract
The authors describe a new genus and a new species of Ceratopogonidae: Baeodasymyia modesta n.g., n.sp., which somewhat resemble the two genera Paradasyhelea Macfie, 1940 and Baeohelea Wirth and Blanton, 1970.
