[Incidence of antibodies inhibiting hemagglutination by influenza virus A/New Jersey/8/76 (Hws1N1) in sera of swine and the population of Umbria].

The authors studied the seroepidemiology of influenza virus A/New Jersey/8/76 (Hsw1N1) in Umbria, in animals and human populations. Human samples demonstrated seropositive evidence only in those subjects with an age above 50 years. The results from swine samples instead proves the circulation of virus in pigs.
