Techniques of reconstruction for arterial insufficiency.

Arterial surgery has developed rapidly over the past thirty years, although the principles were well established at the start of the century. This article discusses the techniques currently used for arterial reconstruction of occlusive disease in the aorta, iliac and femoral arteries, and for embolectomy.
