Abstract
Tetramisole, a new synthetic anthelmintic, was compared with piperazine in the treatment of ascariasis in African children. Of 100 children receiving tetramisole 94 were cured, and of 100 given piperazine 85 were cured (0.05>P>0.02). Tetramisole was free of side-effects.

新型合成驱虫药四咪唑与哌嗪用于治疗非洲儿童蛔虫病的疗效比较。100名接受四咪唑治疗的儿童中94名治愈，100名接受哌嗪治疗的儿童中85名治愈（0.05＞P＞0.02）。四咪唑无副作用。
